Hello, and thank you for visiting this site to learn more about our 3rd grade class. This has been an exciting school
year so far, and we have lots of great activities in store as we prepare for Winter Break and the end of 2008!
My Mission
Each of my students is an individual who brings something unique to the classroom. It is my desire to bring out the best
in each of my students and ensure that he/she has the best opportunity to learn and to participate. My job is to create a
productive and pleasant learning environment in which all of my wonderful students can reach for the stars, and be the best
they can be!

Who's in Miss Carter's Spotlight?

Noah is our star student in the spotlight! He did an excellent job co-teaching our Science lesson on cloud formations.
Noah's favorite subject is Science, and one day, he might like to be a METEOROLOGIST. A METEOROLOGIST is someone who studies
and reports on weather patterns and conditions.
Thanks for being such a great contributor to our class, Noah!
Special Project Due Dates to Remember!!
This fall, we're feeling really squirmy
and wormy, because we're a class full of bookworms!

Look at what we bookworms are into this fall:
The Life & Times of the Apple, by Charles Miccuci
Molly's Pilgrim, by Barbara Cohen
The Courage of Sarah Noble, by Alice Dalgliesh
Additional titles for recreational reading can be found here:
